Client hardware and software
The client hardware is dependent on the software installed on the machine:
Minimum client configuration:
•1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor.
•1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit).
•1 gigabyte (GB) disk space.
•Windows7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (CAD integration requires 64-bit OS)
•IE 11.0.
Server hardware and software
The server hardware is significant dependent on the total number of documents that is registrated in MDOC. And the amount of disk space required for storage of the files.
It is recommended to have a separate server for MDOC
Minimum server configuration:
•2.0 gigahertz (GHz) or faster.
•4 gigabyte (GB) RAM.
•MS-SQL server 2012, MS-SQL server 2014, MS-SQL server 2016, MS-SQL server 2017, MS-SQL server 2019
•IE 11.0.
Other requierments
Following must be installed on the clients and server.
•Microsoft .Net framework 4.7.
•Windows Active Directory network.
•TCP/IP must be installed.
Supported software
Most file types will be able to register and start with it's associated program from MDOC 2017. Following software is supported with extra functionality.
•To be able to send mails. The MAPI client must be installed on the computer.
•AutoCAD integration, Autodesk AutoCAD version 2018, 2019, 2020.
•Inventor integration: Autodesk Inventor version 2018, 2019, 2020.
•Vault integration: Autodesk Vault version 2018, 2019, 2020.
•Office integration: MS-Office 2013, MS-Office 2016, MS-Office 365 (MSI edition).
•Revit integration: Autodesk Revit version 2018, 2019, 2020.
•CADdy integration: CADdy++/SEE Electrical version 5, 6, 7
•Microstation integration: Microstation v8i series1, v8i series2, v8i series3.
