Client hardware and software
The client hardware is dependend on the software installed on the machine:
Minimum client configuration:
| • | 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor. |
| • | 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit). |
| • | 1 gigabyte (GB) disk space. |
| • | Windows Vista SP1, Windows7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 |
Server hardware and software
The server hardware is significant dependend on the total number of documents that is registrated in Mdoc. And the amount of disk space required for storage of the files.
It is recommended to have a separate server for Mdoc
Minimum server configuration:
| • | 2.0 gigahertz (GHz) or faster. |
| • | MS-SQL server 2008, MS-SQL server 2012 |
Other requierments
Following must be installed on the clients and server.
| • | Microsoft .Net framework 4.0. |
| • | Windows Active Directory network. |
| • | TCP/IP must be installed. |
Supported software
Most file types will be able to register and start with it's associated program from Mdoc. Following software is supported with extra functionality.
| • | To be able to send mails. The MAPI client must be installed on the computer. |
| • | AutoCAD integration, Autodesk AutoCAD version 2014, 2015, 2016. |
| • | Inventor integration: Autodesk Inventor version 2014, 2015, 2016. |
| • | Vault integration: Autodesk Vault version 2014, 2015, 2016 |
| • | Office integration: MS-Office 2007, MS-Office 2010, MS-Office 2013. |
| • | Revit integration: Autodesk Revit version 2014, 2015, 2016 |
| • | CADdy integration: CADdy++/SEE Electrical version 5, 6, 7 |
| • | Microstation integration: Microstation v8i series1, v8i series2, v8i series3. |
Note
From 2015 SP01 Mdoc implements a new Outlook integration. This New integration is only supported from Outlook 2013.
